  recently, i showed a great deal of vulnerability by posting that severe pain had popped out again and my morphine pump needs some tinkering.

  it seems i am attacked with some frequency for posting here but other frequent posters are not.

  rather than discuss the merits of a subject, some people engage in personal attack.

  More good ones! Especially nugget's.

  Yes, I noticed that there are no chubbies in the Paradise pics. WTF? And the women are rather petite and overly-feminine. No tomboys, few jeans or even dresspants, not too tall...and the men...don't even get me started.

  This reminds me of a talk a few years back when the speaker happily announced that in the New System, "THE GAYS WILL BE GONE!"

  Ugh.

  And it reminds me of a more ecent talk in which the speakers whines about how homosexuality and homosexuals are so accepted. He proudly states that 'even if the whole world turned gay, WE wouldn't!'

  I must add that that some JWs are lot nicer than those people were about gays. Still not very nice, but at least so overtly cruel.

  Wow. And I used to think a little like that too as a JW. (But not THAT cruelly.)

  I'm so glad I know how horrible these posts are. I'm glad I understand that now.
